E Pluribus Unum

E Pluripus Unum

E PLURIBUS UNUM

FROM MANY, ONE: Sage wisdom from those who led this nation to independence and greatness.

The leftists say that the war on terror is being fought ineffectively. That could be so. It is difficult to wage a war when the nation is divided by opportunists, anti-American “activists”, Hollywood morons, academic “intellectuals”, socialist Senators and Representatives, and by the elite, leftist media. That was proven during the war in Vietnam. During that war, lack of unity gave aid and comfort to our enemy, prevented us from fighting the war to win, and ended in the loss of hundreds of thousands of American, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian lives.

The internal enemies of America equated isolated acts of military misconduct at Abu Ghraib prison with the Holocaust and with the mass murders committed by Stalin and Saddam Hussein. Together, Hitler, Stalin, and Hussein killed millions of innocent people. There is NO moral equivalence. Even before there was an investigation, America’s leftist enemies condemned a Marine for killing an enemy who was part of a terrorist network of Muslims that had just killed Margaret Hassan, a woman who has spent her life helping the people of Iraq. Leftists who prevent Americans from exercising their right to express their religious beliefs condemned our military for attacking mosques being used by the enemy as heavily armed hideouts.

If America does not unite against our most evil enemy yet and put national survival ahead of political opportunity, we will lose all that has been gained during the past 235 years. President Bush reached out to Democrats throughout his eight years in office. Yet, the response form the left remained the same: divisive and self-righteous. They called him ignorant. Interestingly, President Obama carried on with many of President Bush’s policies. He had to, because once he came into office and learned about the real world, he saw the logic. The sad part is that he never apologized for his own ignorance.

Rudy Giuliani

During this time when politics and ideology seem more important to the left than success in our war against terror, I am reminded of the words of Rudy Giuliani (May 19, 2004):

“Our enemy is not each other but the terrorists who attacked us.”

The majority of Americans understand the consequences of not fighting islamic-fascism. Now is the time for the leftist ideologues to take Rudy Giuliani’s advice and to join the united front that will defeat our enemy. From many, one. We need to be one, together, NOW.

About Doc

I am a Psychologist and a veteran of the Vietnam War. I work with abused children and with agencies which try to both prevent abuse and to empower those who have been abused. I feel strongly about child abuse and take every action I can to prevent it and to support the children I work with who have experienced it. I also feel strongly about politics and especially the course being taken by our nation. I believe that America is at a critical point in its development. How we answer the challenges from Islamic fascists and from our own internal enemies in the media, government, and academia will determine America’s future and the future of our children. I believe that if we don’t take the correct course now, America will go the way of Europe and that we will not reach the potential set out by our founding fathers. I believe that it is now getting serious. My gravitar is from "Darkman".

I see things a little different than Giuliani. I think there is an enemy from within that needs to be dealt with. Progressives that want to change the very fabric from which this country was created. Archie Bunkers old saying, “America, love it or leave it”, works for me.

    jocaasbe,

I see the point. Yes, progressives want to change our nation into a socialist (or even communist) society. They ARE the enemy within.

I cannot speak for Giuliani, but I think he was trying to say that we need to stand together as a nation against islamofascism…and that if we do we will succeed.

What he missed is that there is a large segment of our nation that sides with the islamofascists/progressives/fascists/communists.

Those of us who want to preserve America need to stand together. Whether the enemy is from without or from within, we need to protect our nation.

Thank you for the comment and clarification.
