The Destruction of a Dream

Since the mid-1960s, America has made a great deal of progress concerning racial issues.  Nearly every corporation offers employees an opportunity to attend diversity programs and other racially focused educational events. Whites have learned to no longer automatically fear meeting a black person on the street. We have learned that profiling blacks is racist and ignorant. Whites and blacks work side by side to reach their dreams. America made so much progress that it elected a black president – twice.

Of course racism still exists. Pockets of our society continue to feel the terrible effects of poverty and African Americans are often those most hurt by this reality. In many cases, this is the result of ill-advised and racist entitlement initiatives led by control-seeking leftists.

Now, much of that progress has been wiped out by well-funded, anti-American communist groups, such as those controlled by George Soros. Such groups have an overriding need to divide the nation along racial lines in order to legitimize the increase of government control over its citizens. Thugs like the New Black Panthers, Louis Farrakhan, and Black Lives Matter embody the “movement”. They are telling cops and whites in general that we should indeed fear blacks.

They are yelling “Shut it Down” rather than “Build it Up”.

Calls for the murder of cops and all whites are real.  Not to heed them would be racist since not taking people seriously due to color is its own form of bigotry. Ignoring these threats would also be ignorant.

Those behind Black Lives Matter and the other thug groups have done more to undermine progress toward racial harmony than any other group has been able to do in the past 150 years.

Yes, I will be alert when approached by a group of thugs of any color. What a loss and what a sad commentary on the extreme that leftists will go to destroy America.

About Doc

I am a Psychologist and a veteran of the Vietnam War. I work with abused children and with agencies which try to both prevent abuse and to empower those who have been abused. I feel strongly about child abuse and take every action I can to prevent it and to support the children I work with who have experienced it. I also feel strongly about politics and especially the course being taken by our nation. I believe that America is at a critical point in its development. How we answer the challenges from Islamic fascists and from our own internal enemies in the media, government, and academia will determine America’s future and the future of our children. I believe that if we don’t take the correct course now, America will go the way of Europe and that we will not reach the potential set out by our founding fathers. I believe that it is now getting serious. My gravitar is from "Darkman".
