REAL Racism In America

alveda king

Alveda King recently wrote a letter to the African American Mayor of Baltimore (TPNN, 4/28/15).  In it she asked, “How did we get here? Where do we go now?”

Ms. King then asked the Mayor to “Think about this: Baltimore 1965 vs. Baltimore 2015, compare and contrast:

“1. Money spent on public schools then vs. now.

2. Amount spent on social welfare payments then vs. now.

3. The size of Government Bureaucracy then vs. now.

4. The number of black elected officials then vs. now.

5. Number of black children born in Baltimore to an intact nuclear family.

6. Number of Black lives MIA by abortion and incarceration.

“If you look at all six questions/comparisons what you will see is the only statistics to have decreased (1965 to 2015) is the number of black children born in intact nuclear families.

“Something is wrong. We must stop the killing and advance the healing now!”

Of course, Ms. King is correct.  Unfortunately, many on the left, including many African Americans don’t want to advance healing.  There is profit in war.  The race-baiters profit financially by entitling the “have-nots” and stirring division between races and “classes”.  Those receiving entitlements profit by keeping the money flowing.  They also profit from the perverse emotional reward of self-pity supported by the race-baiters.

The evidence of this is clear.  In Baltimore, over half the population is black.  Over half the police force is black.  Much of the political leadership is black, including the Mayor and City Council members.  Blacks are the majority in every meaningful category.  There is not a race issue in Baltimore unless it is racism against whites.  Yet, when a black thug was killed, blacks rioted the minute they were agitated to do so by external and internal race-baiters.

African Americans DO need to “break the chains” of oppression.  But they are looking the wrong way.  Those chains are in the hands of those profiting from racial and class divisiveness.  They are blacks like Obama, Sharpton, Jackson, and the Black Panthers.  They are wealthy white anti-American agitators such as George Soros and a variety of other New World manipulators.  And they are white liberal bleeding hearts acting more out of pity than respect.

It is time for rioting African Americans to hold themselves to a higher standard.  It is time for the rest of us to stop enabling them.  Chloe Valdary, a black student at the University of New Orleans, said it well (Prager University).  “When whites riot, the public rightly labels them as criminals. When blacks riot, the public considers them to be protestors with legitimate grievances. Is this different standard fair? Or is it an example of a new form of racism cloaked in low expectations?”

I think the answer is clear.  The real racists are those who treat African Americans as incapable of reason, lawfulness, and self-sufficiency.  The real racists are those who treat African Americans as incapable of rediscovering their values and thus becoming more emotionally and financially healthy.

Real racists are of many backgrounds and races.  It is time for the real racism to stop.

About Doc

I am a Psychologist and a veteran of the Vietnam War. I work with abused children and with agencies which try to both prevent abuse and to empower those who have been abused. I feel strongly about child abuse and take every action I can to prevent it and to support the children I work with who have experienced it. I also feel strongly about politics and especially the course being taken by our nation. I believe that America is at a critical point in its development. How we answer the challenges from Islamic fascists and from our own internal enemies in the media, government, and academia will determine America’s future and the future of our children. I believe that if we don’t take the correct course now, America will go the way of Europe and that we will not reach the potential set out by our founding fathers. I believe that it is now getting serious. My gravitar is from "Darkman".
