My heart goes out to those murdered by Islamist fascists in Paris and to their families and loved ones.  These innocents were slaughtered because of some pictures.  Islamists were offended.  Even their own head beheader isn’t safe when an islamist is offended.

Meanwhile, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is offended even beyond the showing of some pictures.  That “lofty” terrorist organization has complained that the AP’s old definition of “Islamist”—a “supporter of government in accord with the laws of Islam [and] who view the Quran as a political model”—had become pejorative shorthand for extremist Muslims or “Muslims we don’t like”  (Wikipedia).  They are apparently double offended.

Given that all of these sensitive Islamists continue to be offended, our Presidential apologist for terrorists is trying to comfort them by making sure that Americans know the “real” Islam.

Unlike President Obama, I really don’t care about how Islamists “feel” or about trying to get to know the “real” Islam.  Here is a bulletin for CAIR and all islamist terrorists like them.

Everyone has a right to be offended.  Relish that right.  This is America.  We have a rather strong belief in free speech.  When you are offended get over it or get back to a country that  fits you better…you know, one of those that forbid free speech and beheads you for smoking.

And, by the way, did I mention that I don’t care how you feel?

On the other hand, I do care about those murdered in Paris.  Very much!

About Doc

I am a Psychologist and a veteran of the Vietnam War. I work with abused children and with agencies which try to both prevent abuse and to empower those who have been abused. I feel strongly about child abuse and take every action I can to prevent it and to support the children I work with who have experienced it. I also feel strongly about politics and especially the course being taken by our nation. I believe that America is at a critical point in its development. How we answer the challenges from Islamic fascists and from our own internal enemies in the media, government, and academia will determine America’s future and the future of our children. I believe that if we don’t take the correct course now, America will go the way of Europe and that we will not reach the potential set out by our founding fathers. I believe that it is now getting serious. My gravitar is from "Darkman".
