Islam and Violence

“A Muslim cleric who preaches from certain passages of the Koran could be caught in the “broad” net of the government’s new anti-terror law, Islamic leaders have warned” (Daniel Greenfield from Frontpage Mag).  “Grand Mufti of Australia Ibrahim Abu Mohammad and the Australian National Imams Council have called for the offence of ‘advocating terrorism’ to be removed from the so-called Foreign Fighters Bill, currently before (the Australian) Parliament.”

“…The Islamic Council of Victoria said the new law would incriminate Muslims who support ‘legitimate forms of armed struggle’, including resistance to the Assad regime in Syria and the Palestinian conflict with Israel.”

Given the assertions of these Muslim leaders, they have special privileges granted by the Quran.  In its own words (as quoted by Greenfield):

“Quran (2:191-193) – ‘And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing.’

“Quran (8:12) – ‘I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.’

“Quran (9:5) – ‘So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them.’”

As so ably stated by Greenfield, “the argument is that they want to promote ‘good terrorism’ against Jews and they don’t want to be sanctioned for it.

So, here’s to all Americans too naïve to see this insanity coming to our own country.  Setting limits early and often is the one way to prevent an Islamic takeover. As asserted by its own leaders, violence and Islam are entwined.  You can’t ban terrorism without banning Islam.

About Doc

I am a Psychologist and a veteran of the Vietnam War. I work with abused children and with agencies which try to both prevent abuse and to empower those who have been abused. I feel strongly about child abuse and take every action I can to prevent it and to support the children I work with who have experienced it. I also feel strongly about politics and especially the course being taken by our nation. I believe that America is at a critical point in its development. How we answer the challenges from Islamic fascists and from our own internal enemies in the media, government, and academia will determine America’s future and the future of our children. I believe that if we don’t take the correct course now, America will go the way of Europe and that we will not reach the potential set out by our founding fathers. I believe that it is now getting serious. My gravitar is from "Darkman".
