Like most of us who think of ourselves as conservative, Rush Limbaugh is not a far- right extremist. He is a “Kennedy Democrat”. The problem is that the nation has moved so far left that it has left out in the cold all of us who believe in America. President Kennedy believed in service to our country, not in the country enabling us. That is America. That is what the conservatives of today believe and stand for.
With the re-election of President Obama, America will move even further toward “progressivism”, i.e., socialism-communism-fascism. Our nation will become even more disabled as citizens rely more and more on government to take care of them, thus giving government total control over them.
The so-called class warfare of today is not what it appears to be. The left says that class warfare is about the rich one percent controlling the have-nots. In actuality, class warfare is about far-left political leaders creating a large group of people who define themselves as have-nots. By doing so, the far-left can provide entitlements and thereby gain power.
We all know there is more power in giving than in receiving.
Just as good parents would do, our nation needs to empower strength, not enable weakness. That is the message that Limbaugh tries to express. That is the message that the left does not want to hear.
